Basalt is a self-initiated project created to celebrate our 11th anniversary as a studio, bringing together everything we’ve learned over the years — from naming, branding, and packaging to art direction, web design, and communication.
Inspired by basalt — a volcanic rock — the concept revolves around the elemental, the solid, and the eternal. The design captures this mineral strength through clean lines, raw textures, and irregular geometries that echo the imperfect beauty of orogenesis, the conceptual territory of our brand.
The packaging explores dark, deep, and sober tones, paired with matte finishes and subtle embossing that evoke volcanic stone and its restrained energy. Each chocolate piece has a unique, unconventional shape, because we believe the most valuable things are not always the most uniform.
